i like the background too, but you must admit the foreground is also very nice. the background fades into a very dark post-autumnal murkiness, which allows steffi to kind of glow. i feel. i don't feel very strongly for full-body portraits in general, but i think the contrast between background and foreground is indeed what makes this a viable photograph. i like it. but i agree the background makes half the photo.
